Dating as a Married Couple
Marriage requires intentionality.
In this episode of Better Together, Pastor Jason and Christy Duff talk about the importance of continuing to date your spouse throughout every season of marriage.
As life becomes filled with work, children, ministry, responsibilities, and changing schedules, couples can slowly drift apart without even realizing it. Intentional time together creates space to reconnect, listen, laugh, communicate, and continue learning each other.
Jason and Christy share practical ideas from more than two decades of marriage, including inexpensive dates at home, walks, meals together, reading a book, listening to a Bible study, worshiping together, and simply putting time with your spouse on the calendar.
They also discuss why dating remains important during difficult seasons of marriage. Even when connection feels awkward or strained, consistently coming together can help move a relationship toward greater health and unity.
Dating does not have to be elaborate. It simply needs to be intentional.
Keep choosing one another. Keep creating space for connection. And keep making your marriage a priority.
