Why I Stepped Away from Calvary Vista

In this personal message, Pastor Jason Duff shares his heart regarding his decision to step away from serving as pastor of Calvary Vista.

Pastor Jason explains the accusation that was made against him, the investigation conducted by church leadership, his decision to voluntarily take a polygraph examination, and the additional questions that followed after the original investigation had concluded.

He also shares how the continuing situation affected his family and made it increasingly difficult for him to focus on pastoring and caring for the church. After prayer, conversations with his wife, and consideration for the future health of Calvary Vista, Pastor Jason made the difficult decision to resign.

This message is not intended to contradict what has already been shared by Calvary Vista’s leadership. It is an opportunity for Pastor Jason to explain the situation from his perspective, express his continued love for the church, and share why he believed stepping away was the right decision for both his family and the congregation.

Although this chapter has been painful, Pastor Jason remains confident that God is faithful and that He still has a purpose and a future for Jason and Christy Duff Ministries.
