Revelation 1:4-20

In this session, Pastor Jason unpacks the introduction to the Book of Revelation and lays a clear foundation for understanding this often misunderstood book. Drawing from Revelation 1:4-20, he explains the four major interpretive views of Revelation and why a literal, futurist approach aligns with Scripture. He also emphasizes the unique blessing promised to those who read, hear, and keep the words of this prophecy (Revelation 1:3).

This message also introduces the divine outline found in Revelation 1:19, which breaks the book into three key sections:

1. What John has seen (chapter 1 – a vision of Jesus),

2. What is (chapters 2–3 – the Church age),

3. What will take place after this (chapters 4–22 – the future tribulation, return of Christ, millennium, and the new heaven and new earth).

This study is designed to remove confusion and inspire confidence as we begin our journey through the final book of the Bible, where Jesus is revealed in power, glory, and ultimate victory.
